The Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA), within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, promotes the recognition, preservation, and advancement of occupational therapy as the preeminent profession promoting health, productivity, and quality of life for individuals and society through the therapeutic application of occupation.

The Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA), is the predominant organization within the Commonwealth that advocates for, serves, and represents a membership of Pennsylvania occupational therapy practitioners for the purpose of: preserving and advancing the scope of practice, insuring access to occupational therapy services, and providing a forum for lifelong professional learning.
