POTA invites you to share your knowledge and experiences by submitting
a proposal to present at the 31st Annual POTA Conference in
Scranton, Pennsylvania, October 22 - 23, 2010. Proposals
can be submitted at any time until midnight March 15, 2010,
by using the online form below.
Proposals will be peer reviewed. Review will consider the following:
- Timeliness of topic
- Relevance to occupation-based practice
- Promotion and use of evidence
- Appropriateness of objectives, identified target audience and presentation method
Neither names nor affiliations are provided to the reviewers. All submissions are given equal opportunity, and names of both submitter and reviewer remain anonymous. Written notification of proposal acceptance or rejection will be provided by May 15, 2010.
NOTE: All session presenters must register for
conference. Presenters are eligible to receive reduced conference registration
fee (2 presenters per 50 min., 1 hr. 50 min., & poster sessions;
3 presenters per institute).
NOTE: Proposals submitted by a student must include a faculty or practitioner mentor.

Important: Before beginning online submission of
your paper, be sure you have a saved copy of your paper proposal in
the event that an error occurs during processing. It is recommended
that you prepare your Abstract and Program Description/Learning Objectives
ahead of time and copy and paste the information into the form when
you are ready to submit it.
