POTA Scholarship Fund

POTA is committed to recognizing and developing emerging leaders in our profession. At the Fall 2011 meeting, the Board agreed to award the 2012 POTA Scholarships to students interested in assuming a leadership role by contributing to the development and implementation of the 2011 POTA Strategic Plan. This plan clarifies the overall purpose and desired results of POTA and outlines how those results will be achieved. As part of  the application process, students will review the 2011 POTA Strategic Plan on the website, select 1 or 2 goals of interest, and write an essay (two page single space limit, 12 point font) describing realistic and creative methods to achieve the goal(s). The Strategic Plan can be found at https://www.pota.org/pota-strategic-plan.

Scholarship checks are presented to awardees during the Business Meeting/Awards Ceremony at the Annual POTA Conference in September of 2012.
